This policy explains what information Abyss Diver ("the site", "we") collects when you visit or play, and how it's used. It applies to holofeed.org
Information from Google Sign-In
When you choose to sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address, and profile picture with the site through Google Identity Services. We use this only to:
- Show your first name and avatar in the site's navigation bar while you're signed in.
- Add your first name and avatar to the public "Explorers" list, which shows recent visitors who have signed in.
We do not sell this information, use it for marketing, or share it with anyone beyond the hosting/database provider described below. Your full name and email address are never shown publicly — only your first name and avatar appear on the Explorers list. Signing in is entirely optional; the game and every page work without it.
Where sign-in data is stored
Your session (the fact that you're signed in) is stored locally in your browser's storage and is never sent to us directly. Your first name, avatar, and last-seen time are stored there so the Explorers list can be shared across visitors. You can sign out at any time from the navigation bar, and you can ask ca22monteon@gmail.com to remove your entry from the Explorers list.
Cookies and local storage
The site uses your browser's local storage (not tracking cookies) to remember that you're signed in and to keep a local copy of the Explorers list when no shared database is configured. Google's own sign-in and advertising services may set their own cookies, described below.
Advertising
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, and you can find more about how Google uses data at Google's Partner Sites policy.

- Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this page.
- Formspree (optional) — delivers messages sent through the contact form.
- cdnjs / jsDelivr — hosts the Three.js library used to render the game.
Children's privacy
Abyss Diver is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has signed in and shared information with us, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site changes. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
